Sowing into the Spirit

The Bible talks about sowing into the Spirit in Galatians 6:8, “For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption: but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” If we are sowing into the flesh, it is difficult to do the things that God wants us to do and it we will not bear fruit. (Galatians 5:17).

The Lord teaches that we should bring our tithes into the church and that we should give to those in need. The wise person who fears the Lord will spend his money the way the Lord wants. We get a glimpse of the people who sow into the flesh in II Timothy 3:1-5, where it mentions the people who are”lovers pleasures more than lovers God” in verse 4.

When we became saved Christians, many of us turned away from the life of pleasure and instead decided to “honor God with their bodies,” (Romans 12:1). As we get closer and closer to the Lord, we learn the things that please God. As a saved Christian, I have learned to control my eating so that I can hear the Lord’s voice more clearly and so that more light would shine so as to draw others to the Lord. I have also learned to control my spending, trying only to purchase the things I need and not to overindulge in any are which is not pleasing to God.

Sowing into the works of God will enable us to be more fruitful and help us to be more prosperous. The Christian Marketplace and Fellowship is seeking members who are authors of e-books and books to share with the public. The website will be marketed aggressively to attract those who are seeking to be fed by God’s word. We are also seeking sponsors and donors to assist with the expenses and to help finance a convention. The Lord will bless your giving.
