God Set Prioirties

God sets priorities, which represent his divine order, in our lives and he does this so that all will go well with us. God wants us to put him first in everything that we do. We need to put God first because he set us free from the bonds of wickedness. Therefore, we need to have reverence for him. The first commandments says,” I am the Lord thy God which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:2, 3. God is a God of order and when we are out-of-order, things do not go well. It is important to understand the order.

God has so much love for us, more than what we can imagine because when he set us free, he says, “I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore, with lovingkindness have I drawn thee,” Jeremiah 30:3. His love never stops.
When we give glory and honor to God, our plans will go well because we are doing his will and not our own. Since God created us and has plans for us, we need to follow his guidance. “There is no wisdom no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord,” Proverbs 21:30. Therefore, it is better to follow the Lords plan than our own. The Lord does it better and if we are willing and obedient, we will eat of the good of the land,” Isaiah 1:19.

We need to follow the plan of God and not anyone else’s plan because that is not what God planned for us. He gave us gifts, talents and skills and this is what we should use. However, God does use others to help carry out the plan that he has for us. We need to recognize the voice of God and follow it.

If we do not follow the order that God has set down, then Satan uses it to create chaos is out lives. We shout not let the devil have a foothold in our lives, as it will delay Gods plan for us and when that happens, we may never get free from that foothold because we do not know how it happened and we neglect to ask for deliverance. It will take a lot of prayer and seeking after God to get loose. When we are able to be free from this bond of wickedness, then we can receive the blessings of God.
